Actually nobody can tell you for sure for how long you gotta to wait. Every case is different, and also it depends on your VO's work loads. It ranges vary from couple months to over a year.

Hi I am waiting for permanent residence from March 2017 and still not received.
Because I am pregnat my due day is next month they ask me of deposit for hospital $1000 and deposit of anesthesia $1500.
That s lot of money
Does know somebody help me to find maybe cheaper wait or option or sponsor?

Background check is the longest wait of the whole process, it depends which country that CIC would get all necessary documents to conduct the check, some countries are easier and more responsive than others, also, it depends how thoroughly the CIC would dig into your prior personal life, and it depends your VO's work loads. So, nobody here can really give you the answer. From the cases on this forum, it can be ranged from month to over a year.

Hello,
I had my medical exam on the 19th or march. After a week, i checkes my status online and it's stated there "medical results have been received." That's it. No other information. Not even the date of when the received it. Staus is 'in process'. As for the bsckground check, i dont know what's going on because ive submitted my police clearances together with the application.

Anyone who can tell what does this mean? Have they already processed it? It's already been three mos and i haven't heard anything if they require additional docs.

I will greatly appreciate your comments.

My wife had a medical shortly after you, and it shows as medical passed, but no dates, so you may want to call on that. As for the background we are in the same boat still waiting.
