Passport Renewal

Hello All,

I have a question below is my application status.

Application Received - 3rd July 2012
AOR Received - 2nd Aug 2012

Yesterday my passport got a little damage like some of the pages became wet of my passport booklet and it has become a little wavy.
Can i apply for passport renewal with current status of my application.
Will there be any issues.

When is your passport expiring?

it will expire in 2017.

Talk to Consulate / Passport office and see if they will renew it. If it is damaged, they can renew it. Also since you are July applicants, you have few months of PPR.

I am assuming you have not received your MR as well?

u can contact ur consulate and request for passport replacement in terms of damage or lost. They will only replace ur passport. it is very unlikely that they will renew it since it is not yet expired.

Hello my pass port is expiring in 2 years but soon I will be applying for work permit which is of 3 years duration, how early can I renew my Indian passport and my current country of residence is canada and IAM a student in Canada please help any inputs will be appreciated
