Passport Pick Up Email Notification

Dear all,

Two weeks ago, I received a correspondance from CIC to submit my passport to the Canadian Embassy in Senegal which I did through DHL courier service. The parcel was received last week on Tuesday and by Tuesday this week, my application for the study visa was approved.

However, I realized today when I sent my passport I forgot to write down my email address. I only put my mailing address and phone number.

Do you think it will be hard/impossible to receive a pickup notification because I omitted writing my email ?

If you gave your email when you applied for the visa then they will use that for any communications.

Yes, regardless of how you applied, in the study permit application form there is a place where you have to write your email. If you gave it there then you are good to go. Otherwise all communications will go to the mailing address you provided. So, regardless you will get your pickup notification.
