Passport expiry after PR issue

I will be entering Canada on 25 june 2015 for the first time on PR
my passort is expiring on 8 Aug 2015, Can I face any problems regarding my passport expiry date?
It will be around 45 days remaing on my passport expiry.

I want to know that is there any specific criteria for passport expiry?

you need to renew your passport with the Indian Embassy at Canada before the expiry date.

BTW iam not an Indian.

You need to check whether your country needs any minimum validity of passport for travel.
In India its 6 months or the person can be held at immigration check.

If its so in your case you cannot travel before renewing your passport and again need to contact visa office with further instructions.

Thanks for the advice, My country allows me to travel till the last date of passport.

I only want to know if there will be any issue at Canada immigration counter?
