Passport Application after in-person Oath

For in person Oath, we get Citizen Certificate same day in hand.
I understand the instructions says to wait 2 days after getting Citizen Certificate before applying for Passport.
Any successful case wherein one applied for passport same day? Asking as My Family & Me are taking off for Oath, and wondering if we can utilize the same for passport application.

It works for e-certificate but not for paper one as they require some time for their system to reconcile the new info about you getting citizenship.

In-person do get it.
