My friend passed citizenship test last Dec 2018 but until now no invitation for oath taking. We checked ECAS regularly, DM is there since Dec 2018. We inquired to webform and got a reply that IRCC still verifying her eligibility for citizenship. How come DM but still verifying?

I have a former colleague who took her exam and passed it in September 2018 and only got her oath taking done here in Calgary last week.
If we’ll take the reply as the reason, there could be last few details that they are verifying as the pay is the last step in becoming citizen. I think the important thing is that she already passed the exam.
