I'm wondering whether anyone had a similar issue:
1. Moved from the US to Canada in 2018 with my vehicle, and I obtained a PR in 2020.
2. After getting a PR, I would like to change the status of my car from "temporarily imported" to "permanently imported" (so that I can sell it).
3. CBSA requires the vehicle title certificate from the US (California). However, when I got a vehicle permit of Ontario in 2018, a person in Service Ontario took it away, saying that we could not keep the US title and Ontario title at the same time (both my wife and I clearly remember this).
Has anyone experienced something like this, and would anyone have any idea at which point I made a mistake? (CBSA person just tells me I need the title from the US).
