Dear Friends,

I am planning to move to Calgary permanently in the 1st week of June. I am planning to drive to Toronto, and ship my vehicle to Calgary as this is more economical for me instead of moving the vehicle from US to Calgary. However, I have a question regarding moving my vehicle from US:

I am planning to cross the border at Detroit / Windsor (Ambassador Bridge) by driving my vehicle, and use the movers to ship my vehicle to Calgary (from Toronto) after a day or 2 crossing the border.

Do you see any issues in crossing the border at Detroit / Windsor and do the remaining procedure (any modifications required, RIV inspection, etc.) in Calgary.

Please provide any inputs. Also, please let me know if I am missing anything. Thanks in advance.
