my application submitted september 18, received by paris on december 12, went in process on january 2 , prearrival letter was on june 5 and few days ago, background check went in process. it was very slow with our application. how long do background checks take usually? the way our application is going, it will probably take a month

Did any of you guys have to do interviews? We got our notes and it says interviews recommended. Nothing has changed in any other status. I guess my husband and I will spend our first anniversary apart....

Today I checked and found that they stated processing BGC for my wife I don't know when they actually started BGC since I didn't check for last couple of days. How long it takes to request passport if you have an idea?

Any news from your side for BGC ?

It depends could be a week or a month. Congratulations. Also check PA email regularly for messages.

We received request for my wife's passport today. What is PPR? is it a different letter than passport request?

Hi Guys,
Today I checked ecas showing decision made under my wife's file as sponsored person. But didn't receive any email or passport request. But on GCKey showing final decision still in progress as well as for BGC says we are processing your BGC. Any idea??
