Hello,

I live in Canada (recently got my citizenship), but unfortunately, when I invited my parents to visit me, they got their Visitor's VISA refused because of their family ties with their home country.

Since I am the only child, I wonder if this reason alone would be enough to get another refusal.

Concerning the rest of requirements and "ties" to their home country, I would say they are fine.

Could it be possible that not having strong family ties with the home country, but having a son in Canada, be a reason to get the Visitor's Visa refused forever?

Thank you for your answers!

If you don't tackle ALL of the refusal reasons CIC annotated then the answer is YES.
