mahbubeh, cograts. Did your parents do medical in Canada or back home?
Did you ask the doctor to send the results to Ottawa?
Guys, do medical forms come with instructions as to where to send the results? My mom is going through medical for visitor's visa now, and the instructions clearly state where the doctor should send the results to? Is this the case with PR medicals as well?

In the instructions it says that we can choose a VO responsible for our home country or a country where the parent has been lawfully admitted for longer than 1 year. And since my mom has been in Canada for more than 3 years in a visitor visa I choose Buffalo, that's the VO responsible for Canada. I thought it will be a shorter period for permanent resident application.
Oh, i see. If she has been here for longer than a year, it's a different story.
A friend of mine applied to Buffalo, too. It was a year and a half ago. Her mom was in Canada for a few years but she went back to her home country once a year (she doesn't need a visa to entry Canada). Buffalo sent her application back to her and told her to send it to Regional Office in Vienna. But now everything is different anyway.
Hopefully, your process will be short.
Did they request medicals and PCC yet?
Hi All, who got medical request. There is little confusion where to send results As this polit proj is new for DMP and sounds like they were not instructed properly.
There is special concern for me and Shuga and if someone's result have been sent to local CIC.
Today, I called CIC-CSR and ofcourse, they werenot sure about this steps as they dont know about this new process. But they did mention that as per Medical request form A, if office is Ottawa, it should go to Ottawa. They also mention that CIC-Ottawa should have their same system linked with CIC-local office.
and if not linked, then AS per ottawa, 30 days medical completion time frame, we would be late. what do you say/think?
