However one thing I noticed is that the address showing up somewhat incorrect.
Anyone had any issues with data? Is it possible to udpate myself online somehow?
i don't have any address in ecas when i look by my parents UCI...
when i use my UCI - i see 2 lines, sponsorship decision made, permanent residence application received in 2008, and my canadian address...
when i use my mother's UCI (she's the principal applicant) - there is one line - permanent residence application received in 2008 - and NO address...
my canadian address is the same as my parents address from IMM0008...
Does anybody see parents address in ecas if you check ecas using parents UCI?

CIC started sending the request for additional material to sponsors who submitted applications after Feb 2009.
What`s going on?!
Thanks for sharing this news.
I should receive it soon as my initial application was received by CIC-M in March 2009.
What are the documents needed to send with this additional forms? Anybody can give some info. about this...
Thanks,

Anyone, who is ahead of me: do you recall how long it took you to see a change to 'decision made' status from the appearance of the second line in the status record?

Yes, I am wondering where they got the address for my father - from past applications or from any of my papers...
Regarding hte bolded part: did you enter your parents actual address anywhere in IMM008? I recall entering their home country adrress as their home address and my canadian one as mailing address
I just realized that I made a mistake when filling out the forms
I put my mom's mailing address in IMM008 but at the same time I am her rep (IMM5476) and my mailing address is indicated on IMM5476 (Use of a Representative). But I should have also included my mailing address in IMM008. Does anyone know how to fix it? Wait until I get a letter to know where the file went to and then send a change of address form?
Does anyone know how to change address on a PR form, such as IMM 008 (I changed mine before but it was online)..
Thank you,

Thank you,
They have this page: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/change-address.asp
THough it is not quite clear what it changes and they stress somethign about address in canada...
May be it is better to call them?
Thanks Anik,
yes, in Canada and for Canadian address, it's quite easy.
Well, I guess I will wait and see where the case goes. If to Ottawa, I will phone them and ask how to change address. If it goes to my home country VO, i might just leave it as is.
Can't believe I've done it though!

Thank you,
You do NOT need to make any changes. In IMM0008, you have provided mailing address of your mother. And in IMM5476, you being the representative have given your Canadian mailing address. CIC will communicate with you as an representative on your Canadian mailing address. In the absence or cancellation of representative, CIC will communicate on applicant's mailing address.
I have the same scenario as yours. I received medical forms on my Canadian mailing address, as I did not provide my email address in IMM5476. Only my father's email address was there in IMM0008. But CIC did communicate with me. Therefore, I got mail with medical forms (not email) on my Canadian mailing address.
