Thanks for your reply, So it is normal for London High Commission to take more than a year to send medical request to my parents. Should I follow up with London High Commission. I haven't contacted them yet. I was just waiting but now recently I heard few people who had same timeline as me, one of the family had medicals done twice and other landed in November 2014. I am getting impatient and nervous.
Please advise
Thanks

Hi All
I need help for the parents(who currently reside in Pakistan) sponsorship application. Here is my timeline
Application Sent Oct 2009
Additional Documents/PR application requested in 2013
File Transferred to London High Commission on March 19th, 2014
Since then me or my parents have not heard anything from London HC. No requests for medical yet. Any idea on the timeline. How long does it normally take once file transferred
Any help is highly appreciated.
Thanks
My parents file was transferred to London in Jan 2014. I haven't heard anything after the file was transferred. They are slower than ISB
Hello pari4u is there any news regarding remedicals
harjasjeet u any news.....
I m still waiting for remedical. ..
I don't know why they are delaying mush
already 7.5 year's near to finish
already 3 years near to completed since file transfer. ..
what the hell they are doing ......
wasting so much time for all of us......
one question pls...
if we want to travel can we pull passport back
can this delay our procedures. ...
and will they ask again for updated travelling history form and alll
as this great office has our passports since last 2.5 two and half year
we r also human being who has some time yo travel. ...
but we r locked. ....
Unbelievable that they can keep passports for so long taking away your freedom to travel. You should write to both your MP and the office of the immigration minister.

Hello,
It seems that for a file to be transferred from Mississauga to Ottawa 1) it has to be an Indian application 2) With no dependents. Is that also your observation? Have you guys seen any application that had a dependent and/or was a non-Indian application, but was transferred to Ottawa? If the parent and the dependent (both non-Indian) have been living in Canada for over 4 years, is there a chance that the application may get transferred to Ottawa instead of the LVO?

How about your parents? Did they approve their application or is it still pending?
I noticed in my recent GCMS notes that File Location is FCU-RFV. Several members on this Forum have mentioned that RFV means Ready For Visa. My question: How long it takes for PPR after File is moved to FCU-RFV?

Sorry to hear that Shujath.
I'm curious, please allow me to ask only because I also have siblings under type A but now over 22 & working so I'm just concerned.
I noticed from your timeline that medical's done already. Does that mean your brother went thru that then, but now you're notified about him being not eligible as dependent? All the while I thought if medical is requested it's good as approved already (ofcourse depends also on result). Why would they ask him for medical in the first place? That's just not good... False hopes and waste of money & time...

I think Medicals are required for all family members even those who are non accompanying.

O yeah that's right! My mistake!

But then again, all "dependents" whether accompanying or not.
Anyhow, I guess It's just safe not to be presumptuous upon receiving medical request. I would have if I have not read about the previous posting...
