we are all in same boat, June 2009 case and file transferred to London in March 2014, nothing received as yet.

Once they move your file to London, how long does it take them to process that. My parents have not received anything yet from them. I was checking the processing times for London, it says 65 months. does it mean that I have to wait another 5 years or so. Please help.

The posted processing times are a pretty poor indicator of how long you will have to wait. As an example, my mother in law got her visa last month. Her application was done in Ottawa and the posted processing time was 64 months. It only took 8 months - a huge difference.

I got AOR about two months after sending in documents. Another two months later had sponsor approval and file transfer.

Confused! I recently submitted gcms request, but today they emailed me asking to get consent form signed from the person I am sponsoring. As a sponsor am I not authorized to get gcms note without the consent? Anyways, it appears I have to get consent from each person I am sponsoring instead of just the principal applicant. So I have my mum, dad, and a sibling under 22 years on file, I will have to get each three of them sign the consent form, what a pain? I am in Canada, so I will have to email the form to them and get signed and resend it back to me. What are other people's on the forum's experience on this thing? Please advise.

Consent is required from the applicants. Ask your Mum, dad, and brother to fill up the consent forms and sign it. They can then scan and email to AITP directly with reference to email you have received.

Yes, you can as long as it is signed by the applicants. Each applicant has to sign a separate consent form.

Another question. When I submitted the additional documents to cic, I submitted my parents expired passport as their new passport was in renewal process, we have the new passport now, should I send them copies of new passport by referring to my file # ?

Yes. Include a copy of new passport, Mention File Number, Applicant Name, Date of Birth, and Client ID Number (if you have) on top of the document. You can submit this online as well with case specific enquiry link for your LVO.

I have sent email to London office asking about the expected timeline for medical. They replied and told me that they are working on 2006/2007 cases as of yet, and will start to work on 2009 cases after 6 months. It is very disappointing. They said that they have 68 months from the date they received the file from Mississauga.

can you share their email add? they are working on 2006/07 cases what about 2008 cases? I think it would take more than 6 month.

Iam new to this forum applied for fsw14, mean while i would like to know the process for parents sponsership.
How long this process takes from India? will it take more than 1 year? I could see some of the forum members applies way back 2007 etc, i was just afraid!!.. Please provide the info.
