Hello all. Anyone here who submitted PGP application last week of July and has already received AOR? Thank you!

We submitted on July 21 and added a letter of explanation saying when my parents came to Canada but made a typo on the date in the letter. The date was correctly written on the forms. On our letter the date is Aug 8 and in the forms it’s 12. We even added the cbsa stamp showing the correct( Aug 12).

should I raise a webform now(before AOR) to advise them of this typo or wait for AOR?

Even I can view the signature. I got one too, if you haven't noticed. It's located between this line and the Report function at the end of the post.

I got a resume request today for my parents' PGP application. It says the following.

It appears that the Curriculum Vitæ (CV) /Resume is incomplete. Please provide the most current CV/Resume for the Principal Applicant and all dependants aged 18 and over. Ensure your CV/Resume includes information since the age of 18 and does not contain any gaps. Please include all the details of any employment and volunteer positions held till the present day. Note: If you do not have a previous employment history, you must provide a CV/Resume and indicate unemployment.

I have double-checked it. There is no gap IMHO. My father was a government employee, and I have provided all the job titles, positions and descriptions. Now, if a job timeline is 2010/10 - 2011/11 and the next one starts in 2011/12, is that counted as a gap? Also, both of my parents were undergraduate students at the age of 18 which I put in the education section, I was wondering if the officer missed it or if they want this in the experience section. Following is the template I followed for both of my parents, in my mom's case it was only a position of homemaker with some details of homemaking, cooking, managing home finance etc:

Hello everyone. I have a question, my parent's are soon coming to Canada on visitor visa, while their application for pgp is going in the background. Now, if they get a request for medical can I get their medicals done from here or they have to go back to India for medicals?

You can do your patents medical here and even your patents can get their pr cards in canada.

You can get meds done here and if thier PR is approved, you can even flagpole as thats how I did it in 2014. They stayed here for 5 years ( before supervisa ) with multiple extensions. As long as you show them you are taking care of them and shw health insurance, there is no issue.
