Current undertaking means sponsorship applications that are currently being processed and no decision has been made (i.e not this one that you are trying to fill out as it hasn't been submitted yet).

What should I put for 3a? No. of persons included in box #3 of IMM0008 form.

What about No. 5? Your spouse or Common-law partner if not included in 3 above.

Like I mentioned, I'm sponsoring both my parents with my spouse as a co-signer.

The count of your principle applicant + their dependents (in your case 2)

All this is supposed to be is a total count of principal applicant + principle applicant's dependents (spouse + children under 22, I think) + plus you (the sponsor) + your spouse/co-sponsor + your dependents

e.g. for me: My parents + me + my wife + our child = 5

for 3a, I'll put 2, for my mother and father
for 5, I'll put 1, to include my husband
for 6, I'll put 1, to include my son

So, for 7, the total will be 5, same as yours.

Undertaking Still in affect, please help - Form 5768e

I previously cosigned my spouse's parent sponsorship application - cosigned for 2 people (both are PR) - they are not in Canada
I am now filling out application for my parents and sibling - 3 people
We also have a dependent child now -1

So, is this right
2. You - 1
3.a.Current undertaking - 3
3.b.iii - 2 or 0????
5. Spouse-1
6. Dependent child - 1

Total 8? or 6?

Under ‘Supporting documents’ they are asking for Invitation to Apply letter but when i read that letter it says you have to upload digital copy of this page under ‘Additional Supporting Documents’ with the document name of “other” in the portal
Is it two different things?..one the whole letter and other one just that one page with barcode ?

There is a fees calculator that you need to use to calculate the fees. For me, fees came out to be $2585 including biometrics for both parents.

I simply uploaded a digital copy of my letter under supporting documents since it specifically asked for it. As long as it's uploaded, it should be fine.

People have posted timelines as signature so that it remains permanently there and gets updated as necessary. You can refer that to understand the sequence of steps.

Thanks for the clarification....one more question When my husband submitted interest form in 2020 he was PR but now he`s a Citizen so according to underneath wording from IRCC website do we need to upload his PR card as well?
You must include a copy of the same status in Canada document you submitted with your Interest to Sponsor form in 2020 with your application to sponsor your parents and grandparents. Upload your status in Canada document to your online application under the section “Supporting documents.”

Your total should be 8 since 3.b.iii should be 2 (since you co-signed for your spouse's parents and are now PR).
