Thanks! Should I also include myself in my mom’s additional family information form too then? Hers pops up under the spouse section of the form on the portal.
Sorry your examples are good but I’m still a bit confused. In my case it’s my mom and dad that I’m sponsoring. So in my moms addtional family information for should I list myself?
I get that I should (and will) in my dads but should I also put myself in my moms too. She shows up as the spousal dependant for “additional family info” form. We have to list her children and family members etc

I have another question regarding the undertaking imm 1334, I asked someone and they said if my parents are currently IN canada( they are here on a supervisa) I have to tick the box that says
“withdraw the application if the sponsor is ineligible”.
There’s two options a) continue application and b)withdraw the application on question 1 of the form.
Sorry another question. I don’t have the email addresses for all the family members (brothers and sisters etc) in the family information form. Can I leave it blank?

Just select withdraw...from my understanding, if they keep processing and you're deemed ineligible to sponsor, the application is going to get denied anyway so it doesn't really make sense to continue.

Someone in the WhatsApp group said they selected b and were eligible as a sponsor but forgot to provide some information on the financial info form for the sponsor. Rather than asking for more info they outright just rejected the app. From that perspective I want to select A. But this consultant I spoke to said I need to select b since they are already in Canada. Is there a specific legal reason to select b if they are already in Canada(on a supervisa)
If you believe that you meet all the requirements for sponsorship and don't mind the sunken costs, you can select "B". If you choose B, and you are ineligible the PR applications will be denied anyway and you'll have lost the money.
IRCC should have all the information they need to confirm your eligibility with regard to criminality and finances if you gave them permission to access CRA records. Criminal records are public anyway unless they are sealed and expunged (minors or by application to the parole board). If you did not give them your SIN and grant permission to access CRA records that's when you'll make it difficult for them if you don't provide complete financial picture by uploading supporting documents.
In your knowledge is there any law or rule that we have to select a or b if my parents are already IN Canada? That’s what that consultant I spoke to said that since they are in Canada I should select option b”withdraw the application”.
I don’t want to withdraw and take a chance of them not reaching out to me if they need anything. Don’t mind sunken costs
