Hi Group member, Today my father got a request to provide Military Records. My father never worked in any Military.
Letter further added "If you did not serve in the military, please provide proof of exemption" so If my father never worked in Military so how can we get the exemption letter.
My father is living in Pakistan and it is not mandatory to serve in Military, has anyone else encountered a similar situation and how to respond to IRCC in this situation can simple letter of explanation is enough or will it require additional document. Like notarized affidavit? Looking for expert advise.
I recently received letter from IRCC for Proof of Relationship (SPR)... for me (the sponsor). Downloaded the application to double check what we submitted. It includes my marriage certificate (husband/wife relationship status) as well as my birth certificate (mother/daughter relationship status). Do they need something notarized instead?
Any insight would be appreciated!

I’m here for this reason. Yes, I received same request for my father. And obviously he never served in military or any government job. He never even lived in Pakistan.
As per my representative’s instruction, I provided affidavit and an affidavit for bank account along with bank statement showing no sign of pension. But yesterday they asked to give address and signed consent. They’ll verify themselves. Very stressed as this will prolong the application. I applied for CAIPS notes today. Let’s see

How are people linking their application with a CIC account? I created a CIC account under my father's name. We have completed the medical and biometrics, but we still can't link the application to check the status. I submitted a web form that mentioned that the application might not appear in the CIC portal if the intake office hasn’t linked it. It's been around 15 days since the medical was completed.
