Hello Everyone,

I submitted my PGP application Last year November 2023 and then I just renewed my regular tourist visa with 10 years validity last November 2022.
Am i needed to submit a biometrics? my biometrics from the tourist visa application is still valid?

and also any update for AOR who submitted their application last November 2023?

You will be required to do another biometrics for a PR application despite having a valid one from a previous tourist visa application. IRCC will notify you when to provide it via Biometric Request Letter. I had a similar experience, my mum did a biometric last year for her supervisa application and she had to do another one last month for the PGP on request from IRCC.

Regarding AOR, I submitted my application in October 2023 and I got my AOR in Jan 2024, all the best.

For you to see status of your PGP application, your application needs to be linked to the secure GCKey account. You will be able to accomplish that by creating a secure GCKey account or using an existing one; then follow the linking process. Good luck!

My previous correspondences like additional document request and AOR were via email. While my biometric request was via GCKey account; that after linking my account to GCKey.

Hello All, I submitted application on Nov 19 and have not heard anything yet. Worried about what's going on while reading some of you who applied in December have received as far as medicals. Is anyone in the same boat as me! Should I call them to ask!

I applied in Nov as well and just got additional doc request in feb which i submitted in Mar. Nothing after that.

I TRIED FOLLOWING ALL THE INFORMATION ON LINKING. I AM NOT SURE IF I HAVE APPLICATION NUMBER. I GOT ADDITIONAL DOCUMENT REQUEST AND IN THAT THEY HAD APPLICATION NUMBER. IS THAT THE ONE I SHOULD BE USING? I HAVE NOT RECEIVED AOR YET.

where can you see on IRCC that biometrics if completed? in the pr portal login? i applied for my parents and currently i have not received AOR. i just received additional doc request and i submitted in Mar 2024. Also my office is missisauga
