Do we need to get PCC from home country if applicant has been staying in Canada for 3yrs? Thanks

Yes, I think so. IRCC requires a PCC from any country where the applicant has resided for a period of 6 months or longer since the age of 18.

Yes. It is the letter which states at the beginning:

This letter confirms that your Application to Sponsor a Member of the Family Class was received by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) at the Case Processing Centre in __________.

Today I received AOR and case assigned to Case Processing Centre in Mississauga, anyone know how fast they are in processing?

I am not able to link my application. Not sure which information is not correct

I was able to link GC key after too many attempts

Before I was including sponsor dependents too , which was not correct

Does anyone know where to attach the letter of explanation in gckey account if PCC is not received before the deadline? I have just emailed the explanation letter to them (following their instructions on PCC request letter). I tried uploading on gckey under PCC section but it will not let me attach letter of explanation since it needs issue and expiry dates.

I submitted my PGP application Last year November 2023 and then I just renewed my regular tourist visa with 10 years validity last November 2022.
Am i needed to submit a biometrics? my biometrics from the tourist visa application is still valid?

I got an email from CPC-Mississauga asking for biometrics fee which I already paid when I applied.
Should I pay it again or attach proof that I already paid? I am sponsoring my parents and they have one dependent kid. I paid $170 already.
