Hello Guys,

I submitted my application last november 24, 2023, as of this moment still no AOR march 07, 2024.
is there anyone here still waiting for AOR for over 3 months now?

Hello, I applied for parents and grandparents on December 1st 2023. I just got an email to provide a valid international Passport because the one I submitted for my mum expires in May 2024. I was given 30 days to provide it. My question now is my mum has been to Canada twice and also did biometrics then. I submitted the PGP application without including the biometric fees. Do I need to pay for the biometric fee for my mum or she's exempted? She did the biometrics in 2018. she's 76year old.

They'll ask you for the biometric fees if they think its reqd. I was in the same situation and didn't pay it initially as i wasn't sure and my parents were here on supervisa at the time, but then they asked to pay the fee for my mother only and not father. Every case is different, just wait for their instructions. For now just focus on getting the passport within 30days and send them. I too was asked to send them a new PP as my parents was expiring in Aug 2024. I did before the 30 day period and got the AOR in about 6 days after that. Good luck.

do you have a co-signer too ? Wondering if co-signer needs to be added to family size ?

no I dont. I would think you'll need to add them because they evaluate the co-signer for income ... that was the reason they asked me to count myself. If it still doesn't work for you best give them a call 1-888-242-2100

Was the UCI the sponsors or the primary applicants?

Invitation to apply was received on oct 10th, application submitted in oct 22, AOR feb 26, biometric request march 2nd, medical request march 4th along with sponsor eligibility met.

Hi all,

I got request to resubmit 5406. The online form mentioned to exclude PR/Citizen child, which is not the case, so they asked again I guess.
Anyway my confusion is what marital status to put in form decreased family member? Its a drop down and N/A or deceased is not an option!! I was thinking to use last marital status while passed, am I right? and should I include and explanation letter? Thanks
