Do we have any guideline beside the one IRCC provided in the website? For example I want to know how do we upload scan of parents passports? Do we include all pages or just first page?

DO the married couple(sponsoring couple - we are sponsoring my father) need to fill FORM 5409 - STATUTORY DECLARATION OF COMMON-LAW UNION.

In form IMM 5768 under employment history , do we need to include parents in family size or can I just mention family size considering me as sponsor, spouse as cosignor and kids?

I am sponsoring my mother and father. From 2020 till Sept 2023 family size is 5 - my both parents, me as a sponsor , wife as cosignor and one kid. We are expecting baby next week and family size will increase to 6. Now for income calculation from 2020 will IRCC consider family size of 5 or 6?

again question related to IMM5768 form, last column of the employment history section is family size. if a child is born in 2023. I should include new born member only for 2023- present. Family size will be -1 for all proceeding years since child was born only in 2023. Is my understanding correct?

Hey folks,

I have a few questions regarding uploading passports/travel docs, I would really appreciate if someone could help me with them.

- In "travel documents and passports" section of supporting docs, do we have to include only sponsor/co-sponsors' passports and not the person being sponsored?
- Should passports of person to be sponsored be included in the "additional supporting documents" section?
- For person being sponsored, should we include all pages of their valid/current passport even if it's brand new with no stamps? (do you recommend to additionally include their most recent expired passport with stamps as well?)

Hello all.
I am filling out PR application on my mother's behalf under PGP program after getting the invitation letter this year. I will be using imm5476 (use of a representative) form. Can I create online portal account using same email address that I used to send my interest to sponsor in 2020. I am planning to use same email address in filing out the form imm5476 as well (under section for email of the representative).

Parents birth certificates are only needed if you are sponsoring your grandparents. birth certificate is only required of sponsor not parents. Only exception is if you are sponsoring grandparents.

I have a question regarding adding Dependants in Generic application form for Canada (IMM 0008), should I also add myself which sponsoring my parents and complete all the travel history and education history? this is too much works

This is what Application Guide 5772 says Note: If you have a translation, certification or affidavit that is more than 6 months old, include a letter of explanation to clarify that the information hasn’t changed and your document’s still valid. Upload your explanation to your online application under the section “Additional supporting documents” and select the document name “Letter of explanation.” It’s up to the officer processing your application whether they’ll accept the document. They’ll contact you if they need more information.
