Got Passport request today. Has anyone submitted their passport to Islamabad VFS recently? How many days does it take for them to process with visa stamping?

Congratulations! how long after the medicals and PCC did you get your passport request?
My parents PCC was submitted last month and today I got an email saying IRCC has received the PCC and they're reviewing it. How long after that did you get the passport request?

Vancouver VO is slow. Have not seen any updates on tracker for any application. My parents PCC and Medical completed in August. No update since then.

I got the information letter today , medical was passed few days ago , PCC , BM all are completed . It says

STEP 3: PREPARE YOUR DOCUMENTS
You must submit together:

1. One copy of this letter.
2. Passport(s) OR photocopy(ies) of passport(s), as explained in Step 2.
3. Two (2) photos of yourself and of each accompanying family member. Photos MUST meet the precise specifications found in the link below or in Appendix A at the end of this letter. If you submit photos that do not meet the exact specifications, your package will be returned to you (www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/guides/pdf/5445EB-e.pdf)
All required documents must be submitted in one single package.

The letter does says this in the beginning :

Thanks for your response. I still can’t link it, still saying error, so frustrating. The portion for what category I picked permanent residence, sub category I picked family class parents and grandparents. I filled in application number. The portion for names can’t be filled out. I proceed to applicant information and filled everything out, but still tells me error. I believe am not filling it out properly.

To those who have a hard time linking their application to their GCKey account, here is what the IRCC customer service told me in linking the application:

1. Make sure that the Last Name is CAPITALIZED.

2. On the part where you put the number of family members, put the NUMBER of ADULTS in the box (if spouse DIDN’t co-sign, EXCLUDE them). On my application: I have 3 kids, my wife as a co-signer, my self, and my mom (dad deceased). This was where I messed up as I kept putting 6 as the number. It should just be “3”.

I finally linked my mom’s application and able to see the progress.
