I'm in the same boat as you. My last update is they acknowledged that they received all our documents. I'm waiting for the next steps on this, one of our friends here mentioned we would receive a Portal email to provide the applicant details and then we get anothe email where we apply for the PR card.

I'm in the same boat as well. When did they acknowledge receipt of all documents? Can you please provide your timeline?

Thank you

Hi - My parents are in Toronto on Visitor Visa. They have received PCC request today. Does anyone have experience of getting PCC from BLS/Indian Consulate in Toronto? How long do they take to issue the PCC?

You can apply from BLS and they will take 6-8 weeks to get the PCC. I have requested IRCC for extension of the deadline to submit PCC and they have granted be additional time.

Hello, if you don't mind, can you please share the date of when finalizing process started on online portal? For me it is showing 5th July.
Hi, it shows July 9th for me. And I got Portal 1 email on July 10. And received portal 2 email Monday (July 22nd). BTW, My processing office is Vancouver.

Problem is that my parents are travelling back to India in 6 weeks. I'd really appreciate it if you could help me with these queries:

1) Do we need to submit parents' original passports to BLS for 6-8weeks along with the PCC application? I am asking because the BLS Checklist says "Indian Passport (Original & Copy)"

2) Is it possible if my parents submit the application and go back to India after 6 weeks as planned, and then I pick the PCCs on their behalf, if the PCC comes after they are gone. Here I am assuming that we don't have to submit their Original Passports with the application.

3) The BLS Checklist is also asking for Canadian Address Proofs. My parents live in India, they are just visiting me here for 2.5 months, I assume here I can provide my address proof along with the relationship proof. What do you suggest?

4) How long did IRCC take to respond back to your request to extend the PCC timelines? And how much extension did you ask for? 3 months?

Need suggestion, I have filled myself as Sponsor in interest form and gave my in-laws details as applicants, which got selected now.
Should i process for my in-laws mentioning that my spouse had mistakenly entered my details instead of hers. Or shoud i process my parents and provide the explanation saying that mistakenly entered my in-laws details instead of my parents

Request your suggestion and opinion please.

Absolutely no issues, my mom did same thing. She got biometric request letter two weeks before she was scheduled to arrive in Canada and I waited for to get here to have it completed. On completion, the biometrics was updated on GCKey same day.
Thank you much for your reply. Just a quick question. My mother is still using 'Permanent Residence portal' to check her application (https://prson-srpel.apps.cic.gc.ca/en/login). Do we need to create her GCkey account?
