Was your file transferred after eligibility letter? I got mine transferred after biometrics and with eligibility letter it is now transferred to Vancouver office.

Hi, same here. My parents passed biometric and medical exam. And today they sent me a letter to notify that I have met the requirement and the application has been transferred to Vancouver office.

I have not even got the medical request. The biometric however is completed yesterday on 26th June.

Are you located in western Canada? Generally files for western Canada are transferred to Vancouver for load sharing if sponsor is in western or central Canada . Some other reasons are secondary background checks.

You can get it done from district police station.
I got within 7 days, state Punjab, signed by SSP police .

For biometric, they need to do it again. IRCC doesn’t share biometric for temporary application and permanent application.
For medical, if it’s still valid, no need to do again.
For pcc, no idea.

I just got an email that I need to pay an extra 100 dollar for my parent's application. When I applied in Oct/Dec 2023, fees were calculated using the following table:

And I notice the fees have increased quite a bit:

Shouldn't CIC change the applicants the fees they were told to pay at the time and not according to inflammation?!

I did not get any update about paying extra and in my opinion the new fees can not be imposed on previous applications unless someone did not pay fees in advance.
Others can give feedback too if someone received this extra charge (specially those who are towards the final stages of their applications).

My parents did medical request for their VR application a couple of months ago. It is also valid for PR. So they didn’t request to do again.

It sucks though that everything is getting inflated! $1080 ---> $1205 in one year!!! What's happening Canada?!

After changing the date, you have to click on validate button again. It will change the pattern of the barcode. So click on validate and save.
If you make any chages on form, aoways validate it.

N also now we got another kid while we were waiting for application number n it says contact IRCC if any family info changes … so not sure what to do ? Could u Plz guide me
