One quick question: We submitted birth certificate of the sponsor (as a proof of relationship of sponsor to the principal applicant and dependent spouse). Also, we submitted marriage certificate as a proof of relationship of the principal applicant to dependent spouse. Now we are asked to submit other documents, to to prove the relationship. What else can be submitted?
Anyone received such request?? is this generic information or something they ask when the provided documents are insufficient?
Hi Dixo, They have not asked for PCC yet, can I send email to them with my parents PCC? I know the email address where I sent the additional family information they asked for. I believe that email should still work?
Greeting everyone. We received a message requesting few things by IRCC.
Proof of residential address, which is straight forward ( we are planning to submit driver's license, and utility bills)
Proof of relationship: we submitted marriage certificate and birth certificate at the beginning. Now they are asking, adhaar and voter's ID. What are these?? In the country where my in-laws are there is no voter's ID and what is Adhaar? I search about this and noticed, this is some sort of ID in India but we are not from India, so whay are they asking this?? mistake??
Also, Police certificate, which we will apply and send them soon.
Anyone who received this. They have even asked us Indian Passports and/OCI, not sure what is going on?
Adhar card is for indian, If you are Bangladeshi, you will need Voter ID card. However, can we send the Police Clearance certificate upfront? They have not asked for it yet. If yes, how are you planning to send this document?
same with me, until i read somewhere in this thread that for the no. of people-- i have to include ALL members including myself and my fam members here (so not just the people i am sponsoring). that's what i was doing wrong before. once i corrected that, boom! i was able to link it finally! please try it. hope it helps.

A quick google helped me to know “adhar” is some kind of national id. Anyway, good to know Bangladesh has voter’s id, but my spouse and in-laws are not from Bangladesh and do not have any voter id.
I do not know how to send pcc in advance. For us there is place to upload documents in online account which was not before asking the documents and pcc.
I think the kid does not count. In my case i am sponsoring my mother and i have a husband (not co-signer) and daughter. The number of people i entered is 2 (my mother and myself). Give that a try and hope this helps!
Not sure why you are the one sending the option C. Your son (Principal applicant) should be the one sending the Option C because he is the sponsor and it is his tax info in it. They are saying that since you sent a document in behalf of the Sponsor, you should submit a representative form. They don't have a file in hand that says you can send documents in behalf of the Sponsor.
Hello everyone. Just curious how long ircc take to send the acknowledgment letter. Applied parents PR since December 2022.. no communication so far from IRcc. Anyone have any experience please do share and usually how long they take to send the AOR. Thanks
IRCC changes its rules for biometric https://www.cicnews.com/2023/06/all...cants-must-now-submit-biometrics-0635605.html. Seems like the 10 year validity was only during pandemic and as of June 14th they are returning to pre pandemic rule for biometric. Hope all of us are not part of this, otherwise this is going to be extra pain for many of us.
If you apply for permanent residence on or after June 14, 2023
You need to give your biometrics, even if you gave them in the last 10 years. As of June 14, 2023, we’re resuming biometrics collection for all permanent residence applicants.
Hi, an update. IRCC sent us an email what looks like sponsorship approval email with an attachment. After asking non-exitence documents like (adhar, OCI, indian passport, ration card.. not sure what some of these are exactly) along with police certificates and detail of govement service form, we received this. Not sure how we were eligible to sponsor without them not convinced with our relationship.
Is it normal to get sponsorship approval even if they are not sure about relationship between sponsor and PA and/or PA and his/her dependents??
Hi. What is the timeline for pr confirmation portal. I uploaded images and addresses on June 12. . It's still showing reviewing. Any idea. When they approve the address and photo
