I submitted my intention October 13 2020 and today got email with invite.

Hi guys,

I got the invitation today but the letter has my first name missing (only includes my family name) ... I am worried I checked the box indicating I don't have a given name which was in the intent form by mistake.

Note that I uploaded my passport bio page which has my full name at the time.

Any help?

My wife got the invitation to apply for her parents and grand parents. I will co-sign the application as my wife doesn't work and she doesn't meet the requirement alone. my salary is more than enough to meet the requirements.
i am wondering if my wife's earning earning will impact the application of my in-laws?
any thoughts/experience in this matter?

That's correct!! But mine and my wife's income is less and I need to have my wife as co-signer and similarly for her if she applies, I need to be the cosigner.

Hi, this is very unfortunate. I believe you will not be approved for spondorship

Hi, as long as you meet the necessary income criteria, you will be good..at the same time, being proactive, you can ask your wife to look for part time wfh job..

Hi Guys,

I submitted my Interest to Sponsor form in October 2020 and got my invitation to apply today.I had given up on this totally and it took me by surprise!

I have an issue. I don’t remember if i had submitted the interest to sponsor both my parents or just one of them. Can you please let me know what my options are to find this out?

I got initiation to sponsor my mother but the invite pdf mentions my spouse name. Not sure if that is ok. He will be my co-sponsor.

trying to understand your case ,did your spouse receive an invite to sponsor his parents ? cause how will ircc send an invite unless if the name of your spouse was sent in the initial interest !!!
