We must need to start and sign some sort of petition if files PGP files are stuck in Montreal and Vancouver immigration office more then 20 months. medicals expired and no update at all.
Our file is stuck in Vancouver office 30 months passed Dec 2021 applicant

My guess, is that CBSA screening is not necessarily longer but that having a case sent to CSIS delays the whole file and once CSIS sends it back to CBSA it goes back to the bottom of the queue - which is why it's taking so long.

I feel this is the case, since PA's screening was not sent to CSIS, only the Dependant's - and PA's CBSA screening went from "In Progress" to "Passed" 13 months ago according to the gcms notes.

Thank you for your clarification!

I just found what I said before is totally messed up.

Hi guys. I'm wondering if anyone has experienced requesting a police clearance from the UAE? My parents were once employed there back in 1991, and they're being asked to submit police clearances. The Dubai police office is asking for an Emirates ID/Unified Number, which my parents don't have. All they have as proof of employment there was a Resident Visa stamp. I've read that UAE started to issue these Emirates IDs back in 2012 when they switched to digital. Here's where we're stuck. Any help and information will be very helpful, thanks.

Try applying via the Ministry of Interior website, https://moi.gov.ae/en/eservices/issuance.clearcriminalrecord.certificate.348.aspx

Thank you for this. Would you know if the application would go through if they don't possess an Emirates ID or Unified number?
Oh I just checked and Emirates ID is required. I guess your only other option would be to have your parents go to the nearest UAE embassy.

Hi Guys .. quick question
For Outland candidates , how do they get COPR ? My wife's parents got their PR approved and visa is stamped but no COPR . When will we receive COPR and how ? I gthink they can't travel to Canada without COPR ?

That's where we're having problems. We already asked the Embassy on what other options we have, and we're being redirected back to the app and through Dubai poloce office. And since it's been so long since my parents were there, I highly doubt that the Dubai office would've kept the records before the whole system went digital. Worse comes to worse I'll just write IRCC a lengthy explanation on what steps were taken, and that we cannot provide them a certificate.
