Hi, I am in the same boat. Application sent on 16th May 2018, received 17th May 2018. Still no word.
Apologies for not keeping track regularly in this forum. Is there a way to check, couldn't link the application. Noting on e-cas yet.
Also, if any admin can add me on tracker.

If you sent your mail with tracking you know that it was received. Most applications were received around the same time so it will take a while to get through them all. If others still haven't received AOR they are still processing applications.

My application was received on May 17 but have not heard anything from CIC yet
I tried calling the call center 100 times but it always says that "we are currently experiencing a high volume of calls and are unable to transfer your call to an agent"
How do you guys could speak to an agent at CIC call center??

I wanted to ask if my mother is principal applicant and my dad is dependent and is listed as dependent in IMM 0008. Does my mom fill this form on behalf of my dad? or not?

I am confused, please help?

some people has 10 siblings - they need that form, for the rest of people just IMM0008, IMM0008dep - N/A

Hello Guys,

My Wife's Expression of Interest for Parents & Grand Parent Sponsorship got selected & She is going to be Sponsor for her Parents .

We both have stayed in Canada from 2012 end Jointly applied for PR in 2014 & got PR in June 2015 . She was on open Work Permit from 2012.

Now Here is the Dilemma

In the five years preceding your application, did you become a permanent resident after being sponsored as spouse'

So did our Joint Application for PR , is considered as i Sponsored her( My Spouse) to become PR ?

Is she is eligible to apply ?

Any input is appreciated !!!

You are not your spouse sponsor, she applied for PR she had her own Work permit...

Hi. I made a pretty stupid mistake and did not fill the travel information in the IMM5669 (Background declaration). Only listed the occupation. Now I am a bit worried. Should I just go ahead of time and upload updated form via the Web Form, or wait for the feedback from the Visa Office? My app status is SA, application received in the LVO.

Form 5669 does not ask for the travel information.
It just requires education, employment and residential history, etc.
Why do you want to add travel history for this form when the other form (IMM0008) already covers this information?

Hi,

I can understand the frustration, please try to call them as soon as their time start and make sure that you keep in mind the time different like if they start taking calls at 8:00 am EST then make sure to start calling them at 7:59 am.
