Do parents receive permanent resident documents in the airport , other than the PR card?

There landing VISA is valid until May 2020. They are in Canada but no US VISA. I heard appointment will take longer

My parents in law got sponsored in 2018 second round. The file moved to New Delhi on 15th Oct. can anyone please let me know the process time from here on?

like medical request, police certificate, ppt req and return any other milestones appreciated.

Update. I did landing for my parents at 1000 Island bridge border. It took approximately 30 minutes on the US side. They captured all the details including fingerprints and photos of my parents and gave a yellow slip. At Canada border within 10 minutes landing was completed. It was worth driving that far.

Do they issue for expired emirates id also? , were you able to do it?
What I see on dubai online process it asks for valid ID.

Yes I have got it for my mother in one day, I didn’t see expiry on her I.D but she left UAE in 2013 and that still worked.

No question was asked. Officer asked them to sign the second copy of COPR which they need to keep with them forever.

Passports were received at the Ottawa office on October 2nd. Passports were received back on October 23rd. Exact 3 weeks

Yes I have got it for my mother in one day, I didn’t see expiry on her I.D but she left UAE in 2013 and that still worked.

I used dubai police app, it didnt accept ID, saying invalid, there is a date on my parents ID. Please let me know which link u used, bcoz also dubai police website page also says sending fingerprint by mail as a seperate point when i try to fill in details.

Don't think that should be an issue. No one remember what is exact height. Strange this kind of call does not make sense. Never heard of such thing.

But again does not seems to be an issue.

@anni_in , i am planning to do the same at 1000 Island Bridge, when the passports for my parents are back.
When you go to the US Border do you just say that you need to flagpole to land as Permanent Resident of Canada?

Does it take longer to process if parents worked in the Government jobs? My timelines are similar to you and we haven't got any update after medical passed except pre-arrival letter in Sep and my parents worked in Govt. jobs.

Did you check your junk mailbox.. Passport request for few of us were delivered to Spam folder in Gmail in September. if you see Decision Made in ECAS, try calling CIC and see status on it..
