Does anyone know how much time do we have to apply to MIDI Quebec after getting email for sponsor approved? I got my sponsor approval letter on Feb 1 and I checked Quebec immigration website and there it shows I will have to fill in whole lot of new forms and apply to Immigration Quebec. Does LVO keep track of time since it might take few months to get approved from Quebec.

I’m new in this forum just wanna share the updates of my parents sponsorship.
August 1, 2018: Received letter to submit application for PGP 2018
August 20, 2018: application submitted to Ottawa by mail
August 22, 2018: application received at CPC missisauga
November 26, 2018: AOR received
January 22, 2019: SA noted started processing on ecas
ECAS update SA still received and PGP application still received.
Too slow as compared from the First Batch of 2018. Is it because i only paid for the Permanent residence application and did not include the Rights?

Where are you on your application?

The last communication I got was a notification that everything was approved and moved to Mexico, so waiting for the medical and police request. This was in December.

I have a question guys about 3 year LICO income..

Scenario1: 3 year LICO income should be income as Permanent resident or citizen ?

OR
Scenario 2: someone got PR in 2017 BUT BEFORE he was on work permit, so, 2016 INCOME earned as temporary worker.

OR
Scenario 3: just be PR or citizen at time you file application for PGP sponsorship..

Mom + Dad + 1 dependant

Hi,

I have applied for 2018 parents/grandparents program. My dad is the primary applicant who currently resides in Bangladesh and my mom is the dependent who currently resides with me in Canada. They are currently waiting for the PPR. My question is can they send their passport in two different VISA office (my dad in VFS Bangladesh and my mom in Ottawa) as they resides in two different countries? I have seen this question was asked a few times in this forum, but no definitive answer was provided. People who originally asked the question didn't follow up to share what happened eventually. Any suggestion would be highly appreciated. Thanks!

Same thing. No progress since the app was received Oct 21. It still says app received. However, I did link it to the CIC account.

Scenario 2 works for PGP.

You need to be PR at the time of PGP application. As for income, you need 3 consecutive NOAs. So, you can apply for PGP even though you became PR in 2017 and use 2016 income tax as one NOA.

Wait until they request passports. CIC will send you instructions in the passport request letter.
