Hello @YULIA-2016 : Could you please update sheet with this information.

- Received E-mail from CIC for updated Scheduled - A , Signed with Hand ( Initially Signed Electronically) on Oct/15.
- Sent document via E-mail as scanned copy on Oct/30.
- ecas status is still not available.

Question to other member -

- Is there a way to follow up and ensure updated document is well received and now put into file.
- Usually how much time CIC takes to update your file with additional requested document.

Please advise.

Try with number of applicants as (1 your mom + 1 you sponsor + 1 your spouse if co-signer), that's what worked for me.

It's statutory holiday. But, some people are saying they got emails from LVO on Nov 11. So, you never know who's working overtime to process your application.

They haven't updated my online account (GCKey) although I got an email from CIC for SA approval. They may not update the status until medical or PCC request comes in.

I am planning to sponsor my parents from India in 2019. My father and I will complete all forms and we will not hire a consultant. Do we still need to complete "Use of Representative" form in my favour or we can simply avoid it as other forms will have my father's and my email addresses?

Hello vermas,

I was in similar situation and went with not using a rep form. But one thing to keep in mind is that your father need to keep checking his emails and communicate with you immediately so you both can act in time. Also, CIC won't disclose any updates of principal applicant to you if you don't fill the representative form. If you are OK with that and manage email updates from your father, then I guess you won't have any issue.
