Hey guys, just need some confirmation. As mentioned yesterday, I was asked to upload 2x PCC, and 2x RPRF receipts for my parents on GCKey. I did so yesterday itself. Medicals are not done yet.

Just wondering, the status on GCKey after uploading the documents does not change instantly right ? Does it update after they review the docs ?

It still shows:
"Review of additional documents We need additional documents to continue processing your application. We will send you a message with more details."

Appreciate any responses. Thank you!

Approximately 1 year, the deadline to land is 1 year from date of medical examination.

If you haven't got that medical columns to update then it should be good to go as you have already updated the scanned copies of PCCs & 2 RPRFs'. Status on the GCKEY normally shows we are reviewing the docs you provided. But it takes time to change the status.

Biometrics We do not need your fingerprints. We will send you a message if this changes.
Background check Not applicable.
Final decision Your application is in progress. We will send you a message once the final decision has been made.

Why it says that they don't need a medical exam and background check?

Believe me it is just a standard text for every one.When they will start working on it will change the status right away.So dont worry about that.Everybody have seen the same status.
