Hello everyone.
Did someone get a chance to make inland landing (went through the closest border or made an appointment with GTA offices)?
Please, advise where did you go as I was told at some places they do not have proper officers to finilise papers. If it is through the office - how long did it take to get an appointment?

All - what is the phone number for CIC? I sent them the application which was delivered to CIC on 8/8, but this morning, I received a reminder to submit application .. is this normal? ..doesnt sound like they got my application

The deadline for Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) to receive your complete application to sponsor your parents and grandparents is quickly approaching. I actually received the email twice, the second time they sent it a week before the deadline.

It looks like they are processing applications in batches. Mine was changed to “in process” on the same day as yours.

Ya, I think so too. Just no clue how CIC determined batches. Some received application dates were similar as ours, but they have much faster process. Anyway, late is better than never. Let's hope good news coming soon.

I am just wondering if there will be a line added in the ECAS after receiving the police clearance certificate by IRCC. I sent the PCC to IRCC through email about 3 weeks ago. I have not heard anything back from IRCC so far other than the auto reply after sending the email with attachment. Has anybody else here sent the PCC through email?

Hi There,
I was drafted to sponsor my mom who is currently living in the U.S, problem 1.) she is out of status in the U.S. 2.) Her passport (philippines) name is different from her birth certificate name (1 letter mistake) and most of her legal documents are the same as her passport name. what is the best approach to correct this? My dealine is first week of october,will i have enogh time?

1) My parent are in Canada on super visa so we assume we need PCC from high commission of India and from RCMP in Canada(as they have been in Canada for 1 year). For RCMP we plan to use third party provider , is this correct?

Hi,
May I know how long it took for you to get decision made/sponsorship approval status after the application received status?
My application was sent on May 15th and till now I am just stuck at application received status.

I got AOR on 19th April.Then I got my sponsorship approval on 26th July.
