The reason I am asking is because IRCC apparently is selecting more candidates in this week and supposedly this year they will be asking for 17,000 candidates to apply instead of 10,000.
So you received an email with UCI number. Now I definitely am second guessing myself.
Thanks for you r reply
Actually that is not true. If your parent has an expensive medical event or gets diagnosed with something expensive while waiting in Canada on a supervisa that will be recorded and could make them medically inadmissible. Even if they have insurance it becomes much harder to hide any medical issue. Some of the panel physicians do a very brief exam.
True Medical is something they keep an eye on..
My Mom has type 2 Diabetes, she had her medical done here in Canada as she is on Supervisa at this time.
Because of the Diabetes they also tested her kidneys, and the Doctor told me that if they are already on Insulin, that may be an issue to get PR as the treatment is expensive.
Not so fast. Nobody is a lawyer here and the situation is not so clear. Best is to send an email with app # as reference # and ask IRCC directly or call them.
True alot of immigrants and refugees seem to think bigger cities are better but smaller cities is good too. I live in Regina SK so the living costs such as rental is much lower and affordable and at the end of the month, you can still have some money left over from your wages. At least from people I know, there are plenty jobs available in Regina even though the city is small, travel is much easier and doesn't take too long to get to places.
There isn't alot of refugees here in SK most likely because of the harsh winter we have but other than that life is good. I wish they had an allocation system to which each province would accept a number of refugees into their care instead of exhausting resources from only cities such a Montreal or Toronto.
Does anyone know how long it takes for the application to get to the local visa offices, and what happens next? Also anyone else heard anything from the London VO?
Thanks for the prompt reply. was wondering if that form is OK to use as it is dated to be 2004 version. I searched for the latest version but could not find one. Anyway thanks for your help!
One question. I asked my parents to apply for police certificate although I haven't been asked to sent it yet. I just wanted to expedite the process and have it handy when they request it. They got the certificate and had it translated; however, on the police certificate it says that it will expire within 14 days for my dad and one month for my mom. I can either send it now although they haven't requested it or if they request after and I send it do you think they wont accept it since it passes the expiry date on the certificate? one month is such a short period of time!

I just checked my email and I did NOT receive any emails from IRCC. i had just emailed myself a screenshot of the confirmation page with the confirmation # so i dont lose it.
A letter explaining the situation signed by u and ur mother + highschool certificate or passport last page or any other document which shows ur mothers name if these docs have parents name in ur country.
Hi everyone,
I am encountering a big problem for my parents sponsorship application. On June 21st I emailed them the copy of police certificate fee and resume. Yesterday on Aug 21 st I received the email that we haven’t received the police check yet and this is the final notice. I emailed them one more time yesterday but so worried if they received it or not. Anybody has the same experience please help me what to do?
Ps. I already called immigration and they said we do not have it and cannot do anything about it
