IRCC assess the total household income for LICO so if the principal sponsor's income is sufficient enough, then you may not need the co-signer's income (your spouse if he/she is working). If the main sponsor income is not enough, it is better to get the co-signer
I faxed the death certificate at the same day as you, and last Friday my sponsorship status changed to Decision Made. I guess yours should be same. What you can do is, using your own UCI(you can find it in the letter asking for death certificate) and other information to log into CIC online service, you will see the decision made,
Another question:
I can not link the application to the account I created. It says there’s no application found with the info I add. Neither my name nor my parents name is recognized as applicant. Does anyone have similar experience?

May be you can try again sometimes later. There is a delay between the process and the status update.
AOR is Acknowledge of Receipt, a letter that IRCC advises you that it has received your application
I have a question to the ones who got their AOR’s. when you’re checking ecas after aor, do you guys see if it says “we sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application” or just application received?
