No, but l called them once . They told me that I have to wait, there's nothing to do

What does My CIC Account show?

I have noticed that all messages show on My CIC Account first and after about 2-3 days they update in ECAS. Maybe DM is different?

My CIC says " we are processing your BG check...".

For me its been 20 months since application received by them, and first medicals have expired , while background checks are still in process . London Visa office is so slow.

Question about biometrics. My country was exempt of this requirement until dec 31 2018. Does this mean they will ask for this before PR? Decision was made on ECAs already but i have not received passport request letter.

For me its been 20 months since application received by them, and first medicals have expired , while background checks are still in process . London Visa office is so slow.

Abuse of process is the only way I can label this. Is London office responding to inquiries in a meaningful way or just generic responses?

Historically (2016 results) it shows that London takes 10-12 months from the time they receive an application to PPR. The most incompetent embassy probably.

If an application was filed BEFORE Dec 31, 2018 then no Biometrics is needed. If any application was received after Dec 31, 2018 then Biometrics are needed. So, all the old applications are not affected by current/new biometric requirements.
