"2016, 2015, 2014 Option C Print: For the period specified, provide an original OPTION C-Printout (this document is different from the Notice of Assessment and is available free-of-charge by calling the Canada Revenue Agency at 1-800-959-8281) This must be received at this office by: 2017/07/13"
I know its available online. But they say "original option c print out". So i am presuming they want it to be mailed by CRA. What a waste of time!
I got my Option C print out from CRA. Call that number and its automated service (have your SIN no handy and last year line 150 income) and you can select your required years one by one. I received it in 5 business days in my mailbox.

A friend of mine sent the option C print out they got from the online system for spousal sponsorship and they accepted it. But since we applied for parents sponsorship and rules have been changed I do not if the online version works for us, I would call CRA asking for them then. I do not understand why they specifically say in the check list number 9 that send option C print out if you answered No to the question 8 in the financial evaluation form!
Guys, I just got acknowledgement and file number from CIC. They have requested additional document in form of Option C print out (proof of income - different from notice of assessment) from CRA. The application form that we filled out didn't ask for that. So my advise to you all is to send option c print out for both the sponsoring partners if you haven't posted your application yet.
Did they ask for option C for both partners or just one? For me they asked for my wife's Option C for all 3 years. Not mine. When we both gave consent to access info from CRA. Weird.
Also they are saying that you can send the requested document on their secured link that they provided. I still feel its better to just get the original from CRA and post it to the address they provided. Any thoughts?
