Hi,

My parents were deported five years ago to Mexico after overstaying their stay.
I was able to get married and obtain status. My husband and I would now like to sponsor my parents but, are worried that since they were deported we are not able to.

I have done some research and it seems this wont be an impediment however, they will be required to apply for an ARC after having their parent sponsorship approved.

Is this true? Has anyone been in this particular situation?

Any suggestions are welcomed.
