I am sponsoring my mom's PR application right now. She got divorced and never get married ever since. I am only sponsoring my mother, so does she need to include something like a "proof of divorce" in her supporting documents? This was not mentioned in the application checklist, so I just wanted to make sure it.
She lives in China now and can I (sponsor) be her representative?

Yes you can sponsor her. You need to provide information about your father and whether they are divorced or he is deceased. If she is not married and not common law don’t believe she needs to provide divorce agreement.
Thanks Canuck!
Another question regarding to your answer: I am not sponsoring my father since he didn't intend to come to Canada. So what kind information about my father I need to provide? Any documents? By law, he doesn’t in any relation to my mother, since they already got divorced.
