Hey everyone, Just wanted to inform you that I have gotten my passport request today! I am a Pakistani passport holder and surprisingly, the security checks did not take long for me! I am a guy aged 22 (turned 22 today lol) and I came to Canada when I was 17. I did not need to provide any police certificates from any country since I was below 18 when I came to Canada. Perhaps that's why my security got cleared faster..can't really say.
I wanted to bring in my details in as well, for the goodness of all.

yes thanks God... I checked with immigrations and also contacted MP and they told me
that for Pakistani passport holder there are long background security checks. I think thats what took so long

Don't worry...there is a chance they might do it fast. I am a Pakistani passport holder too and it took me 10 months from the time when I applied till I got the PPR. Keep your hopes up
