Pakistani Applicants waiting for PPR (Stage 1 or 2 letters) from CHC London

Don't worry, everybody in this forum is excited about the strike ending. However no one realized that, because of the strike permanent resident cases were being prioritized, however now that all visas are being dealt with by CHC, it is bound to delay our cases.

I suppose that strike is in CHC London. Although my passports are at CHC Islamabad.
Plus in recent days people get visa stamped very quickly after getting ppr2

Thanks for your prompt reply. But still its about 17 days or more. Plus if you see khipak list usually it takes a week to ten days for all candidate to get visa after ppr2. Is there anything un usuall in my case

Sarfrosh, don't worry these are small things, some time officer out of duty or working other things or some printing , software , networking etc problem, but again these are minor issued, don't worry just pack up and get ready. specially spend more time with your family. nekeol

visa expiry date is your medicals expiry date or Passport expiry date which ever is first.
if your medical expires in July and Passport expires in June then your visa will be up to June.

It is a must.. Pakistani passports clearly say not valid without thumb impression or signature. No one in Pakistan cares about this, however Canada takes it seriously.

To fall in the lower income group your yearly income must be lower than the Low income cutt-off (LICO): http://www.statcan.gc.ca/pub/75f0002m/2009002/s2-eng.htm

This is dependent on family size.

Regardless of LICO value, if you are a first time immigrant, you MUST carry the minimum settlement funds (that you showed as Proof of Funds) with you to Canada.

I have got this response in query of my recent email.
"Please be advised that our office received your documents and your file will be reviewed again early in the new year."
Please comment on it. I am pnp applicant and did medical on 27th Feb 13 and sent updated documents request on mid May 13.
