Received a request by LVO to send passport copies and updated information chart to PHEP.......


Question: What exactly the PHEP going to do with the copies now in the step 1 ????

Now they demand photos in PPR1 and in PPR2 they simply ask for original passports... I recently received PPR1 and then PPR2. Now waiting for visa. Regards.

LVO will authorize, Islamabad to issue your visa.

Islamabad high commission no longer gives immigrant visas and they only stamp visas on passports on behalf of LVO.

All your communication will remain with LVO, even after passport have been sent to Islamabad.

Please refer to the spreadsheet maintained by KhiPak, you can draw an approximate idea of the time frame to get your PPR2. If any member tells you how long it will take, they are just guessing.

no dear, what ever you earn outside Canada before landing to Canada as permanent Resident ... about low income no way as you will have good amount in your account - .... so

As per my information, the only requirement for the funds is that at the time of the issuance of the bank statement, your statement must show sufficient amount (as provided on cic's website). It is not necessary to maintain it for a specific period of time but i would suggest you that in order to make your bank statement credible, ask your bank to issue you a "account maintenance certificate". In this certificate (which is issued with the signature of the branch manager), the bank specifies your length of relationship with the bank like Mr. ABC or XYZ is maintaining this bank account since XXX years or months and they also mention the balance at the time of the issuance of the account maintenance certificate. Although, its a single sheet of paper but usually used for visa purposes and also creates credibility of the bank statement.
