Pakistani Applicants waiting for PPR (Stage 1 or 2 letters) from CHC London

Guys I applied in June 13 for FSW 13. Just yesterday I got my PER. In have two queries from the experienced members.

1. What are the steps after being issued PER.
2. How long would it take for me approximately for visa(I know each case is different and so are their timelines. I just need a rough idea)

Congrats for PER. it takes around 2 to 3 years for VISA. Others would also comment on that.....

2-3 years. An acquaintance of mine received his visa in a year..His wife was from india and him pakistani..I don't know exactly but i think his wife was the principal applicant.

I am M-I applicant. I updated my documents (including paid visa fees) in November 2012. From LVO, I received medical request in Decemeber 2012 and passed through Medical examination in January 2013. I contacted visa office and they informed me that they have received my medicals with a validity of January 2014. And my case is going through routine background checks. Now it has been 8 months since I passed through Med Exam. Do you have an idea how much more time they would take for PPR 1 or 2?

Second, could you please share your experience of visa validity date. Do LVO issue a valid visa until one-year validity of medicals of they give some extra/grace period? I am finding resignation issues with my current job in Pakistan - I may give resignation to my current employer (with a legal binding) either in Sept 13 or after March 14, while my medicals are expiring in January 2014.

I am also finding an issue that LVO is not responding - I contacted them one month ago by email and post...

Please inform me if you have knowledge/experience about it.

YOUR BG CHECKS WILL TAKE SEVERAL MONTHS TO COMPLETE AND EVEN LONGER IN CASE IF YOU HAS AN INTERNATIONAL TRAVELING HISTORY, AS I HAVING AN INTERNATIONAL TRAVELING HISTORY AND MY BG CHECKS WERE STARTED IN OCTOBER, 2011 AND IN THE 2ND WEEK OF
MARCH, 2013 I HAVE BEEN REPLIED BY IO THAT THE RESULTS OF THE BACKGROUND CHECKS HAS BEEN RECEIVED FOR YOUR FILE AND CURRENTLY THE FILE IS GOING TO REVIEW BY AN IO AND THEN FINALLY ON 23RD MARCH, 2013 I HAVE RECEIVED MR VIA EMAIL. AS WE ALL KNOW EACH CASE HAVING DIFFERENT PARAMETERS THAT IS FOLLOWING BY DIFFERENT IO. SO MY CASE IS JUST AN EXAMPLE, I WISH AND PRAY THAT YOU RECEIVE YOUR PPR1 AND PPR2 VERY SOON.

My friends i ave only 30 days and my med will expire . I am sending cse to london and they do not respond . My visa officer is JMR . He told me that i am in the officer review stage . And my be able to do an extention ot require a new med . Please share your feed back i am losing hope . God dam london office

Just an update on my case:

Had my BFD on 07-8-13 but nothing happened...... Sent a CSI on 08-08-13 for status updation, received response yesterday "BG Checks are Still inprogess"........What to say.......Itnay arsay mai tu meray Abao ajdad kai BG checks bhi pooray ho janay chahiay thay.............

Anyways, 05 months in meds expiry & i have started getting that weird feeling which bviously i don't want to spell out............ Goodluck everyone.

Had my BFD on 07-8-13 but nothing happened...... Sent a CSI on 08-08-13 for status updation, received response yesterday "BG Checks are Still inprogess"........What to say.......Itnay arsay mai tu meray Abao ajdad kai BG checks bhi pooray ho janay chahiay thay.............

Anyways, 05 months in meds expiry & i have started getting that weird feeling which bviously i don't want to spell out............ Goodluck everyone.

Received the same reply BG checks are in process.......I think in normal cases it take 3-4 months but in some cases it take several months to finish....Do you have int travel history?

dear although it leaves so much pressure on us if BGC takes that much time as u r facing it but dont u

worry all things will be f9 i can understand ur position that its been more then 3 years & still u r facing

such statments that still ur file is in BGC progress , but in the end u will recieve ur reward indeed

so be happy & keep smilling man
