I emailed requested information next day and also couriered hard copies that delivered to London office after two days. so basically it is date of PPR1. I am about to receive my GCMS notes within a week. I will let you know what were the remaining steps of processing after PPR1
Does any one know is the background check, employment verification etc is done BEFORE or AFTER the visa officer send you the medical request and ppr 1?
Also how long does it take after RPRF, PPR1 and medicals, for PPR2 to arrive?
The PPR2 sending email date as per GCMS notes is the next review date put on your file provided LVO has received the info requested in PPR1 email.

i am not against PIA...just sharing the observation.
guys don't book PIA for Toronto.
today's fight was called back after 2 hours of flying. I don't know what was the reason but they called it back......its landed back at Karachi airport and passengers still inside plane.
normally PIA is getting delayed everyday by at least 8 to 12 hours from Karachi. morning 9 am flight normally takes off at around 2 pm daily.
please do research and then book flight........just don't get stuck in web by seeing savings of some thousand rupees or direct flight. its not worth if it delays like this or lands back. in last 3 months it was cancelled 6 times and merged with next day flight.
Alhumdulillah my Immigration is also about to finalize. I am SINP based immigrant and will reside in regina. at the moment my passports are with Islamabad from last 15 days. All SINP based immigrants which are planing to reach there within next 3 to 4 months please contact me as we all can be helpful for each other.

Probably Etihad to abhu dhabi, then it could be etihad or british airway to London, then it could be Air Canada to Edmonton.
Personally I prefer Schengen airports (like Frankfurt, Amsterdam, Munich, Zurich, etc) for transit. But that's me.
London Heathrow uses bus transfers between terminals and a lot more walking in involved.......but if its a lot cheaper or the only option then don't worry about it. Make sure to ask travel agent for muslim meal on AirCanada/BritishAirways, etc as their food is not halal by default.
Just make sure you don't need transit visas for London since you're traveling on Pakistani passports.
