I need your advice concerning my passport. As I am a university lecturer in a public sector university, my passport mentions my occupation as "Government Officer". Can that be a problem with the Visa Officer? I dont think this makes my passport an Official passport. Its just that my occupation has been mentioned this way. Please help me with your take on this. Thanks

I think its no more possible to change the profession mention in my passport unless i resign :( So, it means my case is hopeless from the start.

Can a term deposit certificate be shown as a proof of funds if it is in the name of our parents and they make us a gift deed on that?

Also how about we make a term deposit certificate in our own name? Will that work?

1. You will have to go to your local Police station in lahore and apply for a PCC. Any of your blood relatives can also do it for you.
2. Don't know about KSA but here in UAE we can apply online for PCC and get it in a couple of days. Check KSA Police website for the online application otherwise you will have to visit any police station.
If you think that you will get ITA anytime soon then its better to start working on acquiring PCCs.

I dont see any problem in having a Govt job and applying for immigration. If you complete all the requirements of CIC you will be good. If they require any additional docs they will ask for it.
