I have tried to contact Islamabad high commission as well as VFS, both don't have any news and refuse to take any responsibility to enquire about our applications. This process has got to be one of the slowest, most testing processes I have been a part of till date.

The 8 weeks processing time is possibly just a big hoax!

At this point I'm completely sick of this process and everyday is a test of patience!! :-[ I have had to postpone my ticket twice, and looks like a third delay is on its way. I didn't have any idea before applying how long it takes so my husband and I, we went ahead and purchased my ticket! Don't know what to do with it now..

yes, it is the slowest and frustrating process. I think you have been facing this first time but for me I went through all this frustration 2 or 3 times. I have emailed both Maccalum and Ralph Godale assistants for speeding up the process but all people are useless there. They don't even understand our issues, I mentioned them about the tickets and all stuff, already mentioned about the spousal vacation date which is November but no positive impact. We are paying fees for the processing and that's how we are being process :
