Dear PA5510N, Canada future and Kalimoran,

I am really glad to tell you guys that I have just received an email from LVO saying that "Your file has been reopened and we will contact you within the next three weeks concerning the next steps required in processing your application" ;D

And to my surprise they have sent me another email today stating the I need to send them updated forms, pictures and Police character certificate within 60 days

Any info. what is this all about? I had already sent PCC with my application!

Who is your VO. it is the abbreviation used in email or letter.

i got approval on 13june and so far no update ...othet members are getting updates within a month or earlier

I am M.Phil (biologist ) and applied in Oct,2010. living in lahore and working here as well..will i also face the same problem as adel have faced..

Interesting one of my friends who applied Apr, 11 (same prof) has gone to canada in 29 may,12..i cant understand what has happens..

Also tell me my address has gone many time but last time it was face off many month , now it reappeared with same RVO..

I am very worry after reading adel problem..

I tell you how to order GCMS anyway. As you have a friend there it would cost you just $5.

Yes you can order CAIPS notes. Its very easy. It can be done by email.

First fill this form, your (friend) requester will sign it.

If you want to pay by credit card fill your card no and sign. If your friend will pay for it he will provide his card details and sign

You can't find credit card form online. Please provide your email address and I will email you.

Ask your friend to provide his Canadian passport /PR card and his recent bill / bank statement as a proof that he is currently living in Canada.

Scan everything and ask him to send everything by email to

PER received: 03 jan, 2012
ecas status: in process since 3 jan, 2012 ( we have received yr application on 5th october, 2012)
GCMS notes applied on 30June, 2012 ( I had applied because there were no update since Jan2012)

Yesterday ive sent CSE today i have got replied

before this i had eme thailed them 4 times and each time i got the reply that Back ground check is pending, and now the above ansewer

my question is that

DOes any one else got the same reply after back ground check
is it in routene that after BG check IO reviews the file
and how long this review will take

guys the wait is just killing and frustrating isnt it
