Your case is almost same as of me, in response to my query in December 2011 they emailed me that my file is in routine background checks. I dont know what are they checking because i got PER in December 2010 and went to InProcess in March 15, 2011. Since than there is complete silence from their end (apart from the fact that i received my original
documents back in August 2011).

Have you been asked for updated documents, if yes then when did they reach London VO ?
Initial application is to be sent to CIO, NS, Canada....from where it is sent to out Visa Office (which is London now..NOT ISLAMABAD)...what happened with your application?? What NOC did you apply under??

Well...my address hasn't disappeared yet....The only good thing is that I'm really busy at office these days and hardly get time to think about all this...but would really like to get it completed so I can plan out what to do and when to do it....

I am a Dubai based new applicant and facing difficulty while filling generic form under dependents visa status, as my wife and my son is on my visa or my sponsorhip, when I select others and then I tried almost e thing resident, family visa, dependent visa, spouse, dependent child etc but its not accepting, anyone who faced same problem can help me plzzzz.
hi i want an advise since my bhabhi's noc is also 3131 and her application reached cic 27 oct and most probably she will get her application back in feb.at the time of submission she did not submit ielts result rather she refered the one which was sent previosly in 2010 application, as cic allowed 2 yr relaxation with copy and email of rejection.she gave ielts in aug 2010 which means according to 2 yr relaxation it must be expired in august , so if the category of noc 3131 remains open in 2012 will she refer the previous ielts result again or she should have to give ielts again??????????????????????????????
please advise any body having such experience.
