Who told you this ? Someone from CIC/IRCC, or someone on this forum ?
If you received university credits for your internship, it does not count.
If you didn't receive credits, it should count.
Unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be anyone on this forum who has applied using an internship as work experience, so we don't know for certain how it turns out.
Istari ur very right . it is what exactly like that or you are going to perceive.I think CIC officials can tell us the exact situation. I mail them waiting for their reply . I m keeping my finger cross.

someone on the forum told me this..how can i find out if it was counted as a university credential or not?
I'm not sure how university works where you live. But in a lot of countries (Australia, USA, etc.) each class you take is worth a certain number of credits, and you must complete a certain number of credits to graduate.
For example, in Australia, to graduate with a Bachelor's degree, you must complete 192 credits. Each 1-semester-long class you take, is worth 6 credits. (That's 4 classes per semester, for 4 years.)
So if I look on my university transcript, it will have a list of all the classes I took, and say how many credits each class was worth. If an internship earned me credit, it would be on my transcript.
But as I said, I don't know how university works where you live.
Your work experience must be:
•at least one year (1,560 hours total / 30 hours per week), continuous full-time or an equal amount in part-time,
•paid work (volunteer work, unpaid internships do not count),
•in the same job,
•within the last 10 years, and
•at skill type 0, or skill levels A or B of the 2011 National Occupational Classification (NOC).
Full Time
30 hours/week for 12 months = 1 year full time (1,560 hours)
Part time
15 hours/week for 24 months = 1 year full time (1,560 hours)
OR
30 hours/week for 12 months at more than one job = 1 year full time (1,560 hours)
You must show that you did the duties set out in the lead statement of the occupational description in the NOC, including all the essential duties and most of the main duties listed.
If you cannot show that your work experience meets the description in the NOC, you are not eligible under this program.
